Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 36 hours per week.

Job Description

Join Mission Hospital's Renal Medicine Unit, which consists of an 18-bed unit focused on providing exceptional care to patients with renal conditions. The unit is supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including 7 staff members during the day shift. We utilize advanced equipment for mobilization, peritoneal dialysis, and more, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Utilize EMR system (Cerner) for documentation and patient management.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to clinical emergencies effectively.
• Assist with equipment setup and patient mobilization.

Required Experience

• Current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in a renal or dialysis setting preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active North Carolina RN license.
• BLS certification required; PCT certification preferred.
