Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit - Days

Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a critical care setting, specifically within an intermediate care unit that handles complex medical conditions and stroke patients. Key Responsibilities Assessment & Reassessment: Systematically evaluate patients' health needs, involving patients, families, and healthcare teams as appropriate. Nursing Diagnosis & Outcomes: Analyze assessments to determine diagnoses and expected outcomes collaboratively. Implementation & Coordination: Deliver evidence-based nursing interventions to achieve patient care goals, coordinating with the care team. Evaluation: Monitor and assess patient outcomes, using critical thinking to address problems and adjust care plans accordingly. Discharge Planning: Evaluate and coordinate discharge needs, utilizing available resources. Professional Practice: Maintain high standards of nursing practice, ensuring adherence to regulations and policies. Qualifications & Skills Diploma or ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred. Previous healthcare experience preferred; equivalent education and experience considered. Current Oklahoma RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and must be maintained.
