Job Description
Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)-Greenwich, CT|NYC Metro
\n \nAbout Numisma Bank
\n \nNumisma Bank is a U.S.-based, technology-forward financial institution specializing in global currency trading and physical banknote distribution. Established in 2024 with Federal Reserve and Connecticut licenses, Numisma combines direct Federal Reserve access, cloud-native technology, and a strong balance sheet to deliver banknote services to clients worldwide. The Bank embraces artificial intelligence and uses it across the organization to work faster, make better decisions, and serve clients more effectively.
\nWith operations spanning multiple continents, Numisma Bank partners with central banks, commercial banking organizations, and cash ecosystem providers to deliver secure, efficient, and trusted currency solutions worldwide.
\nLed by former senior executives from Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, White & Case, and Morgan Stanley, Numisma Bank is redefining the movement of value across global markets through innovation, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to compliance, integrity, and ethical business practices.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing institution at a pivotal stage in its evolution and global expansion.
\n \nPosition Summary
\nReporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will be a key member of Numisma Bank's Executive Leadership Team and will be responsible for developing and executing the Bank's global revenue and earnings growth strategy.
\nThe CRO will oversee all revenue-generating functions, including global sales, trading revenue, pricing, business development, strategic partnerships and alliances, client relationship management, marketing and branding, and commercial operations. The CRO will lead the Bank's regional Managing Directors for EMEA, Latin America, and Asia Pacific to ensure consistent execution of Numisma's business model and delivery of its long-term revenue objectives. This executive leader will drive sustainable growth by deepening relationships with central banks, financial institutions, and strategic partners while identifying new market opportunities and expanding the adoption of Numisma Bank's products and services.
\nJoining the organization during a period of significant growth and market momentum, the CRO will play a critical role in shaping the future of the Bank's commercial strategy, global client experience, and international expansion efforts. This role is ideal for a strategic and commercially minded senior leader with a track record of building and scaling new businesses inside regulated institutions, who combines visionary leadership with a hands-on approach to building trusted client relationships and delivering exceptional end-to-end client experiences.
\n \nKey Responsibilities

- Lead global sales and client coverage teams, including the regional Managing Directors for EMEA, Latin America, and Asia Pacific, serving banks, financial institutions, and strategic clients, and partner with the trading desk on pricing, liquidity, and client execution. \n
- Grow revenue across FX, banknote trading and distribution, liquidity solutions, and other market-facing offerings while tracking performance metrics for revenue, client growth, new client acquisition, attach rates, wallet share, market penetration, and profitability. \n
- Partner with Treasury, Trading, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Finance, and Product to support execution, scale, risk management, innovation, and a stronger client experience. \n
- Build senior relationships across banking, treasury, and financial markets while ensuring sales and trading activities meet regulatory, control, compliance, and industry standards. \n
Revenue Growth, Pricing & Commercial Strategy
\n- \n
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global revenue growth strategy spanning pricing, sales, alliances, marketing, and branding that strengthens Numisma Bank's position as a trusted partner to central banks and major financial institutions. \n
- Establish ambitious growth objectives and ensure alignment across all commercial functions to achieve revenue, profitability, and market expansion targets, supported by clear KPIs and operating frameworks. \n
- Identify emerging market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends to drive sustainable growth and competitive differentiation. \n
- Lead pricing, commercial negotiations, and contract strategies for major international client engagements. \n
- Own the Bank's brand and marketing strategy, ensuring consistent market positioning across regions and client segments. \n
Business Development & Client Relationships
\n- \n
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with central bank governors, treasury officials, banking executives, government decision-makers, and other key stakeholders. \n
- Expand and strengthen relationships with existing clients while driving new business opportunities across global markets. \n
- Lead commercial efforts related to large-scale currency modernization programs, banknote supply agreements, and strategic financial services partnerships. \n
- Drive cross-selling and client penetration strategies across Numisma Bank's full suite of banking, currency, and technology solutions. \n
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and the ability to effectively engage with clients, customers, and stakeholders across diverse geographic regions. \n
Strategic Partnerships, Product Go-to-Market, Innovation & Organizational Leadership
\n- \n
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships, alliances, embedded and distribution partnerships, and market expansion opportunities that accelerate growth and strengthen competitive advantage, including evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments aligned with the Bank's long-term objectives. \n
- Represent Numisma Bank at industry forums, conferences, governmental meetings, and international financial events. \n
- Partner closely with Product, Operations, Treasury, and Innovation teams to design, launch, and scale new solutions — including digital and API-based client capabilities, next-generation currency technologies, authentication and security features, and digital currency initiatives — and provide market intelligence and customer insights that guide product development and investment decisions. \n
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global revenue organization focused on growth, accountability, and client success, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence across all commercial functions. \n
- Establish performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and forecasting models to drive disciplined execution and transparency to the CEO and Board. \n
- Ensure all commercial activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and the Bank's risk management standards. \n

- Proven record of building and scaling a new business or platform, as a startup or a new line inside a large institution, from launch to significant revenue. \n
- Significant experience leading global, multi-region sales and revenue organizations, including regional heads, with direct accountability for large-scale growth initiatives and P&L outcomes. \n
- Demonstrated success developing and executing international growth strategies within highly regulated environments, including expansion into new jurisdictions. \n
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree (e.g., MS or PhD in Economics, Finance, or a quantitative discipline) preferred. \n
Preferred Experience

- Track record of building high-performing teams and developing leaders. \n
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. \n
- Results-oriented leader with strong business acumen and a collaborative leadership style, comfortable in both large-institution and entrepreneurial settings. \n
