Position Summary: Responsible for the overall completion of the daily survey tasks, crew management, equipment and vehicle maintenance, and communication with office staff and clients. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Perform control, boundary, and topographic surveys Operate and supervise the use of all survey equipment including electronic data collectors (Trimble), digital levels, robotic total station, GPS and survey vehicles. Performs construction stakeout computations necessary for the completion of task assignments Tracks job progress Coordinates information for stakeout services Communicates the daily progress of the crew towards the project goals and/or accomplishments with the office staff Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned Compensation for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hour, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. Preferred Experience FAA 107 drone pilot's license Familiarity with Trimble Access Tree identification Experience with construction stakeouts Familiarity with third party software for data reduction and drafting, including Microstation & AutoCAD Familiarity with Subsurface Utility Designation and/or Test Holes Experience with LIDAR scanners Working Conditions Work is performed in a field environment 95% of the time, where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required.
