In the role of the BIM Model Manager, you will have the opportunity to:Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire project Have an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are producedWork directly with the Project Manager to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP), while managing the deliverables outlined within Begin the project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects Provide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team Maintain quality, this individual will monitor the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase thru issue of construction documentsExecute these tasks with minimal oversight by the Digital Delivery Leads and provide guidance to project team membersDevelop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP)Establish the document management system and maintain the server infrastructure for multi-discipline projectsEnsure the team has the appropriate software, versions, access, and training needed to execute the project requirementsGenerate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirementsMonitor and maintain company standards and model health Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the project team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processesCommunicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestonesProject archiving at submittals and closeout Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clientsPreferred QualificationsExperience in developing and using automation software products and procedures for designExperience in development and management of diverse teamsPreference given to local candidatesQualificationsRequired Qualifications Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 3 years digital delivery (model management) experienceComprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructureAdvanced skillset of 3D Coordination toolsAdvanced skillset of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsFamiliar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsFamiliar with basic automation and programming applications for efficienciesFamiliar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applicationsFamiliar with content creation and management conceptsSuperior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essentialDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical supportWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
