Physical Therapist

Role Overview This position involves evaluating and treating patients primarily in Rehab and LTAC hospitals, with responsibilities including documentation, patient and family education, communication with team members and external providers, and equipment management. Key Responsibilities Perform initial and discharge evaluations, develop treatment plans, and set functional goals. Deliver timely and effective therapy to meet patient objectives. Identify educational needs and provide PRN therapy. Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team. Serve as a clinical instructor or mentor for interns as needed. Participate in hospital and discipline-specific skills assessments. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctoral Degree preferred. GA Physical Therapy license or eligibility and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Minimum of 1 year experience in rehab, SNF, LTACH, or acute settings preferred.
