Financial Controller

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Financial Controller to own accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement across a multi-entity healthcare distribution business. This role reports to a fractional CFO and is ideal for someone who wants to build a high-performing finance function and grow into a CFO role .Key Responsibilities Own the full monthly, quarterly, and annual close across three distinct (non-consolidating) entities, including intercompany accounting and significant balance-sheet management for an MSO entity Prepare accurate US GAAP financial statements and present results with clear variance analysis Lead NetSuite optimization and process automation following a recent system transition Redesign and own AP and AR processes end-to-end (eliminate backlog, implement standardized automated workflows) Drive inventory accuracy, controls, and PO-related accounting in a warehouse/distribution environment Design and maintain strong internal controls; serve as primary contact for external auditors Directly manage: Senior Staff Accountant, Financial Analyst, AP Clerk, AR Manager, and Billing Assistant Partner closely with operations, warehouse, procurement, and leadership to improve processes and support growth Qualifications 10–15 years of progressive accounting experience with strong technical GAAP, close, and financial reporting skills Proven hands-on experience fixing AP/AR processes and implementing controls, ideally in inventory- or PO-heavy environments Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity structures NetSuite experience strongly preferred Pharmacy, healthcare, distribution, or wholesale background is a significant plus Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred Bias to action, high ownership, and ability to operate independently with minimal oversight #J-18808-Ljbffr Verve Search Group
