Registered Nurse RN PT Day Inpatient Surgical Unit

*Employment Type:* Part time *Shift:* 12 Hour Day Shift *Description:* The Inpatient Surgery Department at Saint Mary's Hospital is a 23-bed unit specializing in the pre- and post-operative care of patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. These include, but are not limited to, bariatric, orthopedic, ortho-trauma, neuro-spine, mastectomy, urological, gynecological, and gastrointestinal surgeries.
*Your Role*
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will:
* Deliver direct, hands-on care to patients with complex surgical needs.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on promoting recovery and restoring patients to their pre-surgical level of wellness.
* Provide exceptional care and support for patients requiring overnight or extended post-operative stays.
*Minimum Qualifications*
* *Education: *Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred.
* *Licensure: *Current and valid Connecticut RN license.
* *Experience: *Minimum of 1 year in an acute inpatient setting.
* *Certifications: *BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
*Work Schedule*:
*Part-time, 24-hour, Days*
* *12-hour shifts- 7a to 7:30p*
* *Schedule Weekend & Holidays are required.*
