The Vision of Best Buy Paid Membership Team is to solve complex technical problems and deliver solutions that support the end-to-end Best Buy paid membership experience. These solutions will be key to driving customer relationship for our overall business. You’ll partner closely with various product teams, engineering, business, user experience and other cross functional groups. You’ll be working with other product managers to help identify opportunities that will inform their roadmap of new features and experiences that will help deepen engagement with existing members, acquire new members, and retain members.

Position Summary/Job Description

We are looking for a Manual Tester with expertise in Mobile App and Web Experience testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms, as well as our web platform. Collaborating with our development and product teams, you'll play a pivotal role in the release cycle of our products. A strong team player with a detail-oriented approach is essential for this role.

• Firm understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Ability to document detailed test cases and defects.
• Experience with third-party tools for defect tracking.
• Familiarity with web browsers and mobile devices for testing purposes.
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and how they integrate with applications.

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

• Experience with testing React Native Mobile apps and backend API’s
