BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Hospitality Ambassador/ Concierge for an opportunity in South San Francisco, CA 94080

Position: Hospitality Ambassador/ Concierge

Location: South San Francisco, CA 94080

Duration: 12 Months

Work Type: Onsite

Pay rate: $33/hr

 

Work:

• Fully onsite, 5 days per week, in South San Francisco.
• Shift options: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Mandatory bi-weekly Thursday meetings until approximately 6:30 PM. Team meetings and safety certification within 6 months.
• 12-month commitment required. No relocation or remote option.

 

Description:

We are seeking a Hospitality Ambassador to join our team in a customer-facing, onsite role within Site Services. The role will deliver a high-touch, white-glove hospitality experience while ensuring secure campus access in partnership with Security. The ambassador will act as the first point of contact in lobbies and support daily operations impacting a large, high-visibility workforce of 12,000+ employees, visitors, and partners.

Responsibilities:

• Front Desk and Lobby Operations. Serve as the main point of contact for employees and visitors. Provide professional service with a service-minded approach. Handle inquiries, requests, and issues promptly and gracefully.
• Security and Access Management. Partner with Security to protect people and assets. Manage visitor check-in, badge assignment, and host notifications. Ensure adherence to access protocols and confidentiality.
• Guest and Service Coordination. Support vendor deliveries including packages, catering, and personal items. Handle special requests and VIP interactions. Provide call center support for phone inquiries.
• Program and Operations Support. Manage programs such as parking placards, Clipper Cards and transportation, and lobby amenities. Provide flex or rover coverage across multiple lobbies.
• Logistics and Additional Duties. Support gnExpress delivery service for document handling and distribution. Maintain lobby supplies. Assist with projects and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 3 to 4+ years of experience in corporate hospitality or high-end service such as luxury hotel, retail, or concierge.
• Exceptional customer service with a hospitality mindset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Ability to learn new systems such as visitor management and call center tools.
• Valid California driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting cross-functional partners such as Security, Legal, Administrative teams, and Events.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
