About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its legal team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the firm's deal activity, working closely with the General Counsel and senior bankers on significant technology transactions. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including deal support, AI and legal innovation, and general legal support. The Senior Corporate Counsel will assist in the review and markup of engagement letters, prepare and maintain engagement letter forms, and support the General Counsel in advising on public transactions. Additionally, the role includes shaping the firm's approach to AI, serving as an internal resource on legal and reputational considerations, and providing legal support to the banking team on M&A legal matters. Applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited law school, be admitted to the State Bar of California, and have 5-7 years' of experience, preferably in M&A or M&A litigation, at a leading law firm. Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with a small, high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be sharp, collaborative, humble, and driven, with a strong cultural fit. The position is based in San Francisco and requires a commitment to being in the office three days a week.
