Personal Care Assistant

$14 - $19 per hour

University Home Care

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide quality care and support to clients in Newport, MI. This role involves assisting with daily living activities to enhance the well-being and independence of those we serve.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
Support clients with mobility and transferring
Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe environment
Provide companionship and emotional support
Follow care plans and communicate changes in client condition
Ensure client safety at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in personal care or related field is a plus
Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Good communication skills
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation preferred
