National Sales Representative

National Accounts Associate Sales SpecialistWorking as Part-time National Accounts Associate Sales Specialist, you will assist the National Accounts Team in developing and managing a corporate Book of Business with large multi-site National Account customers and prospects.The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Supporting the assigned "Book of Business"Assisting with Contract Management, including: price file management, customer specific cost savings programs and developing and managing cost savings and continuous improvement projects to meet contractual and customer cost savings goalsMarketing and selling Fastenal Automated Supply Technology Solutions to new and existing National Account customersMaking formal presentations to senior level managementThe following skills and qualifications are required for this position:18 years of age or older, due to the nature of workPossess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as neededPossess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have related industry experience and knowledge of the local marketExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient using Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilitiesExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skillsDemonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgencyHighly motivated, self directed and customer service orientedWork independently as well as in a team environmentLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentWillingness to travel 50%+ of the timeDemonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworkLift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbsPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
