Let's be honest—this job isn't for everyone.  You may not enjoy this role if you:

• Dislike repetitive work and following established processes.
• Are uncomfortable working around presses, machinery, noise, and moving equipment.
• Do not enjoy wearing required PPE and following safety procedures.

You'll spend your day operating stamping presses, inspecting parts, handling materials, and helping keep production moving safely and efficiently.

• Operate stamping presses and related equipment to meet quality and production goals.
• Load coils, start strips, and support die setup activities following work instructions.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools and gauges to ensure quality standards are met.
• Move materials and finished parts using pallet jacks and approved material handling equipment.
• Assist tooling personnel with die maintenance activities.
• Monitor and adjust die protection devices and safety systems.
• Support equipment setup, including feeders, straighteners, conveyors, lubrication systems, and related equipment.
• Operate overhead cranes and other approved equipment as trained.
• Record production information accurately in Plex and other required systems.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and follow standard work instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S principles.
• Assist with training and knowledge sharing as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work overtime or flexible schedules when business needs require.

• High school diploma, HSE, or GED preferred.  Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to learn machine operation, quality inspection, and production systems.
• Forklift/tow motor and overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are beneficial.
• Pay range up to $25.00 per hr based on experience level of 3 years or more.

• Stamping presses and production machinery
• Pallet jacks and material handling equipment
• Overhead cranes
• Plex Manufacturing System
• Measuring and inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges
• Cherry picker
• Plasma cutter

This position works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, forklift traffic, noise, varying temperatures, and occasional humidity. Conditions may vary depending on work assignments and production needs.

• Frequent work around machinery and moving equipment.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, and handling of tools and equipment.
• Occasional work in pits under presses or around scrap conveyor systems.
• Frequent lifting of up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely around mechanical equipment, forklifts, and production machinery.

Required PPE may include:

• Safety glasses, hearing protection
• Safety-toe footwear
• Gloves as required by the task
