Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 3 shifts per week, 36 scheduled hours. Start date: 07/13/2026, end date: 10/12/2026, duration: 13 weeks.

Job description: IMCU- 5th floor unit. Certified neuroscience or stroke certified RN required. NY license required. 2 years experience. Drip experience: neo up to 100, precedex and insulin as IMCU level of care. A lines, TR bands. Stroke experience. Post procedural experience. CNRN/SCRNBLSACLSNIHEpic required. RTO: 7 days or less and only 1 holiday. Locals accepted at a local BR: ask AM for the rate. IMCU is 4:1 depends on acuity, if acuity is not there it might be 5:1.

Job requirements and qualifications: Previous charge experience. Years of experience. Patient ratio experience. Charting system experience. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Skills: Unit details staffing and scheduling. Scheduling type. Patient ratios days, nights, weekends. Float required. Call required. Weekend coverage. Number of weekend shifts per contract. Pre-approved time off. Orientation hours. Facility and patient care details. Patient age groups. Daily census. Number of visits per day. Number of rooms. Number of beds. Interdisciplinary support. Patient diagnoses. Special procedures/unit details. Special equipment.

Travel compliance: SSN/DOB RTO - preferred 7 days or less. 1+ years required for submission (within specialty submitting to), travel experience preferred. Submit with recent Nursys. Valid NY State license (must have at least applied if still pending). References required. Certifications - will allow travelers to get before starting. Permanent staff cannot return as a traveler within a year. Candidates may float within skillset. Client will not clear without SSN (Canadian travelers). Please ensure all international travelers apply for Social Security appointment at time of submittal. International travelers cannot cross any sooner than 10 days prior to scheduled start date. Client will not clear with pending SSN or work authorization. Local radius: 75 miles. Local rule: accepted at lower rate. Orientation: Minimum of 3 hours with a 6-hour max. Extensions: After the 3rd assignment they can do 3 more but at the local rate. Modules: Modules are billable. Med Surg RN - 3 hours of modules. Critical Care/ED - 6 hours of modules. Guaranteed hours: Contract weeks: 91.
