Travel RN – Neuro ICU (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Neuro ICU with patient ratios of 2:1, adjustable to 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing needs
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000
• Assist with and support procedures performed on the unit, including insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Fulfill a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; participate in self-scheduling with manager oversight to balance unit coverage
• Deliver attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members in alignment with patient experience expectations; contract staff are first to float and may be assigned to med/surg as staffing needs require

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neuro ICU patient populations
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems
• Experience with CRRT, SLED, EVDs, or other advanced critical care equipment
