OPS Programmer & Data Analyst - College of Nursing

University of Florida College of Nursing is hiring an OPS Programmer & Data Analyst. The role involves supporting research on hospital discharge planning, post-acute care referrals, and 30-day hospital readmission outcomes by processing data, implementing algorithms, conducting validation analyses, and preparing analytic summaries. Highlights Support research involving structured electronic health record data. Work with Dr. Tamara G. R. Macieira on biomedical informatics and health services projects. Proficiency required in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages. Tasks include data cleaning, variable creation, quality checks, and reproducible coding. Must handle sensitive health data securely within the HiPerGator computing environment. Current undergraduate enrollment in computer science, data science, statistics, informatics, engineering, or related field is required. Preferred experience with structured datasets, clinical data, or healthcare analytics. Hourly wage is $26.31. Strong organizational, communication skills, and teamwork reliability needed.
