Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any). Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: - Intervention and attendance of all deliveries.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Community hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: - Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: - RTO must be listed at time of submission. - All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. - Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - must have left in good status, if former employee.

Unit Details: - Expected ratio: 1 on per shift. - Primarily see pediatric patients through the ED and do not typically keep pediatric patients outside of the ED. - The majority of the patient population is adult, and they do not see a high volume of critical cases, as most care is standardized. - Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. - Parking Cost: No Fee

Shift & Scheduling: - No on-call required. - Weekends required: 1830-0700. - Most weekend nights. 3 night blocks.

Floating Requirements: - Will float between units per unit needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
