The Pre-Job Planning Manager also manages regional VDC teams, prefabrication departments, and works closely with the purchasing department.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure Pre-job Planning Process is Executed ConsistentlyEnsure project has 100% of scope capturedRefine and maintain feedback loop, previous estimates, current projects, completed projectsAlign processes, systems and team with the approach to start projects per company standardsManage to consistent field installation standardsManage VDC team, and Total Station Team to ensure timely accurate and consistent models and field layoutsManage Prefab team to ensure quality prefab that improves project performanceManage Purchasing process to ensure complete buyoutsLayout / Control Takeoff MetricsPre-Job Planning Meeting MetricsQuarterly and Annual ReviewsMinimum QualificationsRequired:Four years or more of electrical field experienceFour years or more of management experienceStrong understanding of electrical construction processes, and industry regulationsSound business judgment, strong decision making, superior verbal communication, and conflict resolution skillsEffective negotiation skills, strong communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships across teamsExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teamsSuperior organization skills with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, schedule, and establish and follow up on deadlinesMust have an entrepreneurial approach to problem solvingDriven for and by success with a strong sense of urgency and a "get the job done" attitudeTechnology and computer proficiencyExperience in utilizing BIM/VDC and prefabricationExperience in project management is a plusPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
