Senior Tax Accountant

LHH is partnering with a local manufacturing and retail company to identify a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. This role supports a multi-entity domestic footprint with exposure to complex legal structures, multi-state operations, and inventory‑driven business models. The position offers direct interaction with leadership and plays a key role in ensuring tax compliance and supporting tax planning initiatives as the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for multiple entities, including partnerships and pass-through structures Support the income tax provision process, including quarterly and year-end calculations, deferred taxes, and related disclosures Manage tax compliance related to multi‑state manufacturing and retail operations Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and third‑party service providers Assist with tax planning initiatives, entity structuring, and transaction support Respond to tax notices, audits, and information requests from taxing authorities Maintain tax calendars, documentation, and workpapers to ensure timely and accurate filings Support process improvements and scalability initiatives across the tax function as the platform grows Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3–5 years of tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax environments CPA or CPA In-Progress strongly preferred Experience with partnership taxation, multi‑entity structures, and multi‑state filings strongly preferred Strong Excel skills; tax software and ERP system experience a plus Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
