Material Handler

Our client in Tallahassee, FL is seeking Material Handlers to join their team. As a production technician, you will be part of the mass production of component parts supporting preparation and line assembly operation. The ideal candidate will have a reliable attendance record, have great teamwork skills, and will learn quickly to follow all operating procedures which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Tallahassee, FL (32310)

Pay:1st shift $18.00/hr., 2nd shift $19.80/hr., 3rd shift $20.70/hr.

Schedule:

1st shift - Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:00PM

2nd shift - Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:00PM

3rd shift - Sunday - Thursday 10:00PM - 6:00AM

all shifts will require mandatory overtime on Saturdays when needed.

What's the Job?

• Maintain accurate control and location of stock movement.

• Assist in daily disbursement of raw material to the manufacturing floor.

• Maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and accurate cycle counts.

• Coordinate material movements with 3rd party logistics companies including rail providers

• Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.

• Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.

What's Needed?

• 1 to 2 years warehouse experience

• Knowledge or experience of inventory management in ERP systems

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Ability to perform above company standards in a fast paced, team focused environment

• Job requires pre-employment drug and background screening
