Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. The successful candidate will provide specialized treatment to patients recovering from various conditions, including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient needs and develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement functional interventions and engage in group and concurrent modes of therapy.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment and facilities to enhance therapy effectiveness.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in acute, subacute, skilled nursing facilities, or inpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Experience with functional interventions is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
