Physician Assistant | Interventional Pain & Endoscopic Spine Surgery

Epic Pain Management | San Antonio, Texas | Full-Time

Epic Pain Management is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our San Antonio team and work closely with one of our interventional pain physicians with advanced fellowship training in endoscopic spine surgery .

This opportunity is open to both new graduates ready to build their clinical and surgical skills and experienced PAs with a background in surgery, orthopedics, spine care, or another procedural specialty .

For a new graduate, this role offers the opportunity to learn directly through hands-on training, close physician mentorship, and exposure to both the clinical and surgical sides of spine care . For an experienced surgical PA, it offers the opportunity to bring an established skill set to a growing program while expanding into endoscopic spine surgery and interventional pain management .

You'll work alongside our physicians throughout the patient journey, including surgical evaluations, preoperative care, surgical assistance, and postoperative follow-up .

Requirements:

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Texas
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experienced surgical PAs are also strongly encouraged to apply , particularly those with backgrounds in spine, orthopedics, neurosurgery, or other procedural specialties
• Prior pain management or endoscopic spine experience is not required
• Strong clinical judgment and eagerness to develop new skills
• Interest in interventional pain management, spine care, and procedural medicine
• Excellent communication and patient-engagement skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians and the clinical team
• Willingness to travel occasionally to surrounding San Antonio-area cities as needed
• A motivated, collaborative approach to patient care and professional development
