This executive leadership role is responsible for setting and executing the Americas regional strategy while maintaining full P&L ownership. The General Manager / SVP will drive profitable growth, lead commercial and operational performance, and build a high-performing leadership team. This role serves as a key link between global strategy and regional execution, ensuring alignment, scalability, and long-term success across the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Americas regional strategy aligned with global objectives
- Own full P&L accountability, driving revenue growth, margin optimization, and cost control
- Lead end-to-end commercial performance, including go-to-market strategy, pricing, and customer segmentation
- Oversee Sales & Operations alignment to balance demand generation, supply chain capabilities, and service levels
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing regional leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities through data-driven insights and industry trends
- Represent the Americas region at the executive level, contributing to global strategy and cross-regional collaboration
- Ensure strong governance, risk management, and compliance across the region
- Act as the senior escalation point for operational, legal, safety, and reputational matters
- Strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Drive brand presence and market positioning across North and South America
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field required
- MBA preferred
- 10+ years of leadership experience, including at least 5 years in an executive role
- Proven experience in the consumer products or related B2B industry
- Strong background in retail, manufacturing, and supply chain environments
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and operational efficiency
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Advanced financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
- Ability to drive organizational change and innovation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage complex, multi-functional operations
