About the Position

Job Title: EP Tech Profession: EP Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current and valid license as required in the field Certifications: ACLS, EKG training Must-Have: Previous experience in scrubbing all procedures done in Electrophysiology in an acute care setting Description: Unit has 2 Cath labs and 1 EP lab. The patient-to-staff ratio is 1:1 in rooms, with 3 staff members assigned to each room, except for VT Ablation where the ratio is 1:4. The unit operates with a combination of RNs, RCIS, RTs, CVTs, a department assistant, a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, and a Manager. Typical procedures performed include pacemakers of all types, ablations of all types, Watchman procedures, and cryoablation. The documentation system used is Meditech and MacLab. The staff is required to work a call schedule of four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Dress code consists of facility-provided scrubs. Candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced unit and able to function independently.
