We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Palmdale, CA facility. Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for troubleshooting and performing maintenance and repairs of office and building facilities, facility structures, equipment, machines, and grounds.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform work in one or more maintenance trades, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, machine and equipment repair, and HVAC.Conduct routine, periodic, and special inspections of facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and prevent breakdowns.Perform trade work such as carpentry and painting in the construction, repair, or alteration of structures (e.g., walls, roofs, office fixtures).Perform preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment according to established procedures.Provide general building construction services for new construction and renovations (e.g., framing, drywall, taping, texture, painting, flooring and base, doors, frames, and hardware).Respond to and complete facility tasks and maintenance requests from managers and internal customers.Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment.Set up and operate tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.Observe all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies when conducting business on behalf of the company.Work safely in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.Perform other duties as assigned or required.We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
