Physical Therapy Assistant – Home Health (Travel) in Monterey, California. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 38 hours per week on day shifts. Weekly pay range $1,199–$1,261. Responsibilities
- Provide skilled PTA services under supervision per the plan of care for residents in the facility
- Implement and progress therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and modality use as directed by the supervising PT
- Monitor patient response, document progress, and adjust treatment as authorized; communicate changes with the supervising PT
- Assist with patient education, safety, and discharge planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record, ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Uphold infection control protocols, equipment safety, and patient privacy throughout all activities

Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapy Assistant license
- SNF experience preferred; NetHealth (Rehab Optima) knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of home health concepts is beneficial given the specialty focus
- Ability to work 38 hours per week on day shifts
- Willingness to travel and work in a skilled nursing facility setting
