Customer Service Representative - Contract Location: Jacksonville, FL Job Type: Full-Time Contract Duration: at least 2+weeks, could be longer Position Overview We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a temporary contract assignment supporting an established operations team. This position is being added to provide coverage for an employee who is currently on leave. This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrative or customer service professional who can step into an existing environment, learn processes quickly, stay organized, and immediately contribute to the team. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. What You'll Do Maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy records, documentation files, databases, and shared directories Prepare, organize, and analyze reports, statistics, and other business information Assist with presentations and reporting related to departmental performance metrics Provide administrative support for various operational programs and processes Assist with employee training, testing, and scheduling activities Coordinate equipment testing and help schedule testing for applicants and new employees Gather, organize, summarize, and index information and documentation from multiple sources Assist with departmental meetings and presentations Take meeting notes, document action items, and help track follow-up activitiesRespond to questions, emails, and requests from internal teams in a professional and timely manner Provide administrative support to operational and support departments Assist with special projects, assignments, and other administrative responsibilities as needed Follow established policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism What We're Looking For High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required At least 2 years of relevant office, administrative, customer service, or operational support experience preferred Experience supporting a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or similar operational environment is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach Ability to work independently and take initiative Comfortable working with data, documentation, reports, and computer systems Ability to perform accurate data entry and typing Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Comfortable operating standard office equipment The Right Fit We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and provide dependable support during a temporary leave. The ideal candidate is someone who learns quickly, asks good questions, pays attention to details, and can take ownership of their responsibilities with minimal supervision. You should be comfortable stepping into an established team and helping keep day-to-day administrative and operational activities running smoothly. Because this is a temporary assignment, reliability and attendance are especially important . We're looking for someone who can commit to the assignment and provide consistent support throughout the duration of the contract.
