This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady hours, growth potential, and great benefits through CloudRay.About CloudRayCloudRay is a trusted national staffing partner with 25+ years of experience, connecting skilled workers with top employers across the U.S. We specialize in industrial, logistics, IT, hospitality, and skilled trades—helping candidates find stable careers with room to grow.Position SummaryAs an Assembly Technician, you will work on vehicle interior and exterior assemblies using a variety of hand and power tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and fit automotive components with precisionOperate hand and power tools, including: Miter saws, routers, and band sawsDie grinders, radial arm saws, and sandersDrill press, cut-off tools, and jig sawsWork inside vehicle interiors and exterior areas, including tight spacesPerform physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, and liftingMaintain and use your own basic tool set (wrenches, sockets, pliers, tape measure, etc.)Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work areaRequirementsMiter saw experience requiredAutomotive assembly or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to accurately read a tape measure (assessment required)High School Diploma or GED preferredASE Certification is a plusStrong work ethic and reliable attendanceAbility to lift up to 60 lbs and work overtime as neededSteel-toed boots requiredMust pass background check and drug screeningSchedule & Pay1st Shift: Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PMFriday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PMOvertime Available: Early start as early as 5:00 AMSaturdays: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PMPay Rate: $18.00/hourBenefits (Through CloudRay)Weekly Pay Health Insurance Performance-Based Incentives & Bonuses Referral Bonus Program Temp-to-Hire Career GrowthLocation AdvantageEasily commutable from:Huntsville, AL (35810)Madison, AL (35758)Athens, AL (35611)Decatur, AL (35601)
