Job Description Saint Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist for our Microbiology department. You will have the opportunity to perform an extremely broad range of tests. Shift Details Full Time Day shift, four 10-hour days per week, and 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Rotating weekends (work every 3rd weekend) Responsibilities Performs accurate and reliable analyses requiring a complex network of steps and variables Recognizes technical, instrument or physiological problems, identifying causes and evaluating alternative solutions Confirms and verifying laboratory results utilizing in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles and instruments Correlates and interpreting data based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results Establishes and monitors quality assurance programs Participates in performance improvement programs Must have ASCP accreditation or pass ASCP registry within 9 months of hire Medical Lab Scientist experience in Microbiology preferred Bachelor's degree in related Science field required Job Requirements Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Bachelor's Degree - Clinical Laboratory Sc Job Details Full Time Day (United States of America) #J-18808-Ljbffr
