Appian developer

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement applications using the Appian platform, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest Appian features and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
• Document development processes, application configurations, and technical specifications for future reference.


Mandatory Skills:
• Strong expertise in Appian Application Development, including experience with Appian Designer, Process Modeler, and Appian Records.
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with web services (REST/SOAP) and integration techniques.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Preferred Skills:
• Experience with other low code platforms or BPM tools.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience in leading small development teams or mentoring junior developers.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Appian Application Development.
• Relevant certifications in Appian or software development methodologies are a plus.
