- Communicates quality standards and expectations to employees, suppliers, and customers.
- Leads customer complaint and warranty investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and resolution of field quality issues in partnership with customers, contractors, and the Field Services team.
- Leads continuous-improvement initiatives affecting quality processes, key metrics, cost of nonconformance, and customer value.
- Manages internal and external quality audits and the corrective and preventive action process.
- Leads, coaches, and supports the development of the Quality Assurance team.
- Partners with other departments to define and improve workflows affecting product and process quality.
- Reinforces Quality Assurance requirements and supports employee understanding of applicable standard operating procedures.

- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and experience supporting or conducting quality audits.
- Experience using structured root-cause analysis and corrective-action methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:

Uncompromising Quality Mindset
- Naturally notices inconsistencies and resists accepting shortcuts that weaken standards.
- Balances attention to detail with a practical understanding of production realities.
Grounded Critical Thinking
- Approaches evolving technology with curiosity and thoughtful openness while questioning polished or confident outputs when evidence, context, or assumptions are incomplete.
- Verifies information, applies practical experience and human context, and remains accountable for judgment rather than deferring decisions to a system.
Steady Customer-Focused Composure
- Stays calm, respectful, and solution-minded when complaints, defects, or field issues create pressure.
- Listens carefully to internal and external perspectives without becoming defensive or dismissive.
Practical Coaching Presence
- Is patient enough to develop others while remaining clear and firm about accountability.
- Gives straightforward guidance that employees can understand, trust, and act on.
Constructive Cross-Functional Influence
- Builds credibility across operations, engineering, suppliers, and customer-facing teams without relying on authority alone.
- Handles disagreement directly and respectfully, keeping attention on facts, standards, and workable outcomes.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

- Computer and Equipment Use: The role may include extended periods of stationary work and frequent use of computers, measurement tools, gauges, and other quality inspection equipment.
- Lifting and Handling: The role may occasionally involve lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or handling materials, products, carts, pallets, or equipment weighing approximately 25–50 lbs.

- Work Environment: The work environment generally includes office and manufacturing areas and may involve exposure to noise, heat, cold, dust, chemicals, moving equipment, and other conditions typical of a production facility; applicable personal protective equipment and safety requirements may apply.
- Travel and Site Visits: The role may include up to 15% travel within the United States and Canada and occasional visits to customer or construction sites to investigate and help resolve field quality issues.
Salary $122,000- $143,000/year (Compensation at the top of the range is reserved for individuals who bring subject‑matter knowledge, hands-on experience, a proven track record of performing this work at a high level, and the ability to step in and deliver impact immediately with minimal ramp-up.)
