VIVE Collision is looking for a  Senior ADAS Calibration Technician to join our growing team. This is more than a calibration role — you’ll serve as a  technical expert, mentor, and trusted resource for ADAS operations across multiple locations.

You’ll perform advanced diagnostics, calibrations, programming, and system testing while helping ensure every vehicle is repaired according to  OEM procedures and the highest safety standards . You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor technicians, provide remote technical support, and assist the ADAS Manager with operational and technical decisions.

The specific pay rate/salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by several factors including experience, education, specialized certifications from OEMs, and where the job is located. 

Key Responsibilities

ADAS Calibration & System Integration

• Perform advanced static and dynamic ADAS calibrations following OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications. 
• Diagnose, calibrate, and repair complex ADAS components, including cameras, radar sensors, lidar, ultrasonic sensors, and related vehicle safety systems. 
• Ensure proper integration of ADAS components with vehicle electrical, mechanical, and safety systems. 
• Perform comprehensive pre- and post-repair diagnostic scans and functional testing to verify system operation. 
• Confirm all ADAS repairs meet OEM requirements and vehicle safety standards. 
• Complete programming, resets, software updates, and system adjustments as required. 

Advanced Diagnostics & Technical Support

• Lead advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting using OEM-specific tools, aftermarket diagnostic platforms, and calibration equipment. 
• Identify and resolve complex ADAS concerns involving vehicle communication systems, sensors, modules, and electronic components. 
• Provide remote diagnostic support and technical guidance to ADAS Technicians and shop teams. 
• Assist locations with repair planning by reviewing diagnostic findings and calibration requirements. 
• Interpret OEM repair procedures, technical bulletins, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation. 
• Maintain current knowledge of evolving vehicle technology, ADAS systems, and calibration requirements. 

Field Support & Multi-Location Leadership

• Travel between multiple VIVE Collision locations to perform ADAS calibrations and provide technical support. 
• Serve as a senior technical resource for field technicians and collision repair teams. 
• Support the development and training of ADAS Technicians through coaching, mentoring, and sharing best practices. 
• Provide guidance on complex calibration procedures and assist technicians with challenging repairs. 
• Perform quality control reviews of completed ADAS work to ensure compliance with OEM procedures and company standards. 
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and escalation point for ADAS-related technical issues. 
• Provide operational support to the ADAS Manager, including assisting with workflow management, prioritization, and technical decisions. 

Operational & Customer Service Excellence

• Manage assigned ADAS workload across multiple locations while maintaining efficient scheduling and completion timelines. 
• Communicate clearly with shop leadership regarding repair status, diagnostic findings, calibration results, and recommendations. 
• Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostics, calibrations, repairs, and vehicle information. 
• Represent VIVE Collision professionally while interacting with internal teams, customers, and partners. 
• Identify opportunities to improve ADAS processes, technician capabilities, and overall repair quality. 
• Perform other duties as assigned to support collision repair operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Minimum of three (3) years of direct ADAS calibration experience or equivalent advanced automotive diagnostic experience. 
• Advanced understanding of automotive electrical systems, vehicle communication networks, sensor alignment, and calibration theory. 
• Strong knowledge of OEM ADAS procedures, calibration requirements, and safety standards. 
• Proficiency with OEM and aftermarket ADAS diagnostic tools, software, and calibration equipment. 
• Experience diagnosing complex vehicle electrical and electronic systems. 
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, or provide technical guidance to other technicians preferred. 
• Ability to interpret OEM repair procedures, technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic information. 
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. 
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; CCC ONE experience preferred. 
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to meet VIVE insurance requirements. 
• Ability to work independently while managing travel schedules and supporting multiple locations.

Physical & Travel Requirements

• Travel between multiple shop and customer locations (company vehicle provided).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments (bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods).
• Manual dexterity to operate diagnostic and calibration equipment effectively.
