This person will work closely with the captain, front of house team, and owners in providing superior service to all guests. Host / Brand Ambassador Responsibilities : Represent the VENETO brand in a professional and exemplary manner and promote the success of the restaurant to guests, staff and all other parties — from the beginning of the shift to the end (when the last guest leaves). Make a great first impression — on the phone and when guests enter the restaurant Reservation management via OpenTable Welcome guests and inform them of VENETO specific customs, following scripting in the VENETO bible Manage the flow of the restaurant throughout the night with incoming calls, existing reservations and welk-ins Set the tone for the unique and memorable VENETO experience guests will have Guarantee professionalism at front door by managing and directing other team members to support and focus Ensure accuracy of each guest’s order QUALIFICATIONS You Bring to the Table: Owner mentality Possess a graceful, warm, and confident presence An appetite for providing memorable hospitality Open availability and a career mentality Excellent emotional self-awareness under pressure Independent, self-motivated thinker Dependable, Discretion, Trustworthy Warm, clear, professional, timely communication skills (verbal, written, virtual) Thorough, Detail Oriented Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Gracious & pleasant demeanor with a positive attitude Confident with technology Glowing references Flexible and adaptable Outgoing personality Discretion and trustworthiness Knowledge and experience with pr, marketing, social media, design, content creation is ideal Curious intelligence to continue learning in the position REQUIREMENTS of The Job: Punctual Present an elegant and professional appearance.
