Position Overview

This role requires flexibility as the successful candidate will float between two campuses, delivering care to patients in various units. The responsibilities include the management and treatment of patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), general telemetry monitoring, and medical patients, ensuring high-quality care at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between BDWMC and BBWMC campuses as needed to provide patient care.
• Manage and monitor patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and general telemetry units.
• Provide medical care to a diverse patient population, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
• Utilize a universal bed model to enhance patient care efficiency and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license or certification as required.
• Previous experience in a PCU, telemetry, or medical environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and float between campuses.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
