Electrician (Permanent role) Location: Rochester, Kent (leave from Rochester yard each morning) Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum Company Vehicle: Provided Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our growing team, specialising in the installation, replacement, testing and commissioning of domestic extractor ventilation systems within residential properties. Based from our Rochester, Kent, you will travel to customer properties across London, Kent, Surrey, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Projects may be located anywhere from Camden and Sutton to Hertfordshire and beyond. A company van, tools, and equipment will be provided. Key Responsibilities Removal and replacement of existing extractor fans in residential properties. Installation of new kitchen and bathroom extraction systems. Wiring, testing and commissioning of extractor fans and associated controls. Fault-finding and diagnosis of electrical issues relating to ventilation systems. Completion of minor remedial electrical works where required. Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 Wiring Regulations. Recording completed works using company paperwork or digital systems. Maintaining excellent customer service whilst working in occupied homes. Adhering to company Health & Safety procedures at all times. Maintaining company vehicle, tools and stock levels. Requirements Essential NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. AM2 qualification. Full UK Driving Licence. Experience working within domestic residential properties. Strong fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently and manage daily workload. Desirable Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent). Experience installing domestic ventilation systems. Experience working in social housing or occupied properties. ECS Gold Card.
