Job Description: We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our financial solutions firm in Estero/Bonita Springs, FL. You will provide a variety of tax preparation/compliance needs, as well as a small amount of QuickBooks/accounting needs for certain clients.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and update financial records on QuickBooks & Excel Spreadsheets.
• Person must be experienced and very comfortable preparing all kinds of tax returns (Individual, Corporate, Trust, etc.), also very comfortable utilizing QuickBooks software.
• He or she needs to make sure that the client's tax positioning is in compliance with local and federal tax laws.
• He or she will also be responsible for properly preparing and handling notices, correspondence, and presentation materials for clients.
• He or she should be dedicated and motivated to achieve high standards of client service.
• A candidate should have good time management skills and know that proper planning months in advance will surely alleviate tax-time workload.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.
• MS Office, Excel, QuickBooks, and tax Preparation experience, and various tax preparation software.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications:

• Comfortable signing final tax returns.
• Strong emphasis on tax knowledge and experience managing the entire tax practice client list.
