Gillmann Services is now hiring a Superintendent for work in Richmond, VA and surrounding areas! Current work is in Emporia, VA.

**Must have held superintendent title and have experience in commercial construction to be considered for this role**

Responsibilities:

• Support overall site operations, ensuring work is executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors and field teams to maintain schedule, sequencing, and jobsite efficiency
• Lead safety and coordination meetings, including look-ahead planning and schedule updates
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or conflicts, and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with all jobsite requirements
• Manage daily operations, inspections, and workflow continuity
• Perform hands on work (carpentry, drywall installation, etc.) alongside crew as needed
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a construction superintendent role
• Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore
• Commercial construction experience, especially multi-family rehabilitation
• Willingness to work alongside crew and do what it takes to get the job done
• OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass drug and background screening
• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
• Willingness to work weekends as needed

Day shift, full time position. Pay commensurate with experience and dependent on interview.
