Lead Housekeeper

Environmental Services LeadLeads environmental services associates in performing a variety of environmental services to maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition.Minimum Qualifications:Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:One (1) year of housekeeping experience.Preferred Qualifications:Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:High school diploma or equivalentCore Duties and Responsibilities:The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Other duties may be assigned.Monitors housekeeping activities in assigned area(s) to ensure proper cleaning, servicing and stocking of supplies, the completion of work schedules and supervisory instructions; reporting problems as necessary.Performs housekeeping duties including, but not limited to, sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming and trash removal.Ensures all supplies, materials and equipment are available in assigned work area for proper performance of duties; report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.Reports need for repair to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.Assists in training employees in proper cleaning techniques and use of supplies, materials and equipment.For facilities with specialty accreditation requirements:Completion of annual required education related to specialty accreditation as defined by accreditation standards.
