Operating under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, you'll adhere to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures. Position Requirements 18 years or older High School Diploma or equivalent Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time Can move up and down ladders frequently Comfortable working at heights frequently Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Able to work in various temperatures. Compensation Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications and other job-related factors. The hourly wage range for this position is $29.00 - $56.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area. Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area. Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report. Ability to read and speak the English language as required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Preferred Qualifications Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years. Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years. Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program. License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located. No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
