Position Responsibilities:

In this position, you'll be responsible for providing direct care for patients and families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist nursing personnel with patient care activities and helping in maintaining a clean and safe environment. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high level care, maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our ASC team, you're actively involved in work that makes a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in the healthcare setting is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or it must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire date. Completion of a 500/720-hour Certified Medical Assistant course. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and assist in lifting patients up to 300lbs. Standing and walking a minimum of 6 hours out of 8 hours. Prior customer service experience is preferred. Displays excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and computer skills. Candidates must possess the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, as well as communicate and interact with patients and their families clearly and effectively.
