Must have or be eligible to obtain a license to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia. Duties: Position involves clinic, hospital and teaching components. Provide evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for general Neurology patients and patients with neuromuscular diseases, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Provide general Neurology call coverage with other neurologists in a shared system. Active in physician and hospital outreach activities related to neurology. Participate in medical student and resident education, as well as research. All other appropriate duties as assigned by the chair of the Department of Neurology.Location - MUSOM - Marshall University School of MedicineSalary Range - Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experienceQualifications Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description. Required QualificationsEducation - A medical degree, completion of residency training in Neurology and a neuromuscular fellowshipExperience - The ideal candidate will have an interest in academic medicine with an emphasis on clinic-based practice.
