Job Description The Georgetown Hospital Emergency Department serves the communities of Halton, Halton Hills, and the surrounding areas. Our ED is a 15-bed unit with a separate Rapid Assessment Fast Track (RAFT) zone. We serve patients of all ages and treat patients of every medical and mental health illness. Last year we served over 39,000 patient visits. Our 24-hour staff are comprised of nurses, physicians, physician assistants and many other team members of a robust multidisciplinary team. Our team includes a dedicated mental health and internal medicine resources to ensure comprehensive assessments of patients for timely referrals and/or admission. Qualifications Current Registration in good standing with theCollege of Nurses of Ontario Current Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card upon hire. Experience in triage and in-charge responsibilitiesrequired ACLS certificate required at time of hire and ongoing.
