Engineering Manager EPC

Salary: $103,549 - 174,999 per year Requirements:

• We have at least 7 years of experience in design, engineering, or project management tied to electrical transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Experience leading project teams or consultants is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred.
• Construction-related or EPC project experience is preferred.
• We hold a bachelors degree in engineering.
• We bring strong technical knowledge of substation, transmission, and distribution design, including the ability to interpret engineering deliverables and client specifications.
• We are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• We demonstrate strong commercial awareness, including scope definition, risk identification, change management, and client relationship management.
• We have solid analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
• We can coordinate effectively with internal teams, engineering consultants, and external partners.
• We are self-motivated and able to manage priorities independently.

• We develop and prepare proposals for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• We define project scope to align with clients and third-party consultants.
• We manage detailed design activities with engineering subcontractors and oversee deliverables from bidding through as-built completion.
• We coordinate procurement activities with engineering subcontractors and our Procurement Manager, including bidding, specifications, and contracting.
• We work with material vendors to expedite procurement information and deliverables, or delegate those tasks to the Procurement Manager as needed.
• We prepare engineering standards, specifications, and procurement requirements for each project.
• We plan and coordinate day-to-day engineering subcontractor and procurement activities with the Project Executive and/or Project Manager.
• We support negotiations with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• We maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• We perform other assigned duties as needed.
• We carry out essential functions at a company-designated office or field location.
• We follow our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, along with applicable industry-specific professional and ethical standards.
• We oversee engineering delivery through third-party engineering consultants serving as the Engineer of Record.
• We coordinate design reviews, support procurement and construction, and help ensure final as-built documentation is completed.
