Work Environment
This role is entirely remote, allowing you to deliver therapeutic services via telecommunication platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health status and identify specific areas of concern.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities effective for diverse mental health issues.
- Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing tools and strategies to help clients navigate their challenges effectively.
- Document client progress and treatment outcomes in our electronic health record system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary, offering referrals to specialists such as psychiatrists or group therapy when beneficial.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed about trends and approaches in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your clientele will encompass a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, substance use disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma-related issues. Cultural competence is pivotal in this role, as you will tailor your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client while respecting their backgrounds and experiences. You may also work with both individual clients and group therapy settings, enhancing community support and providing a platform for shared experiences and healing.
Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- A current, valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
- A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, with a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of a wide range of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a comfort level with teletherapy platforms.
Preferred Experience
- Experience providing crisis intervention in complex situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Familiarity with cultural responsiveness in therapy and the ability to address the needs of clients from varied backgrounds.
- Background in group therapy facilitation and community mental health outreach.
- Continued education and training in specific therapeutic modalities or populations.
Compensation and Benefits
