CT Technologist

Role Overview: This is a full-time CT Technologist position requiring technical expertise in CT imaging, patient care, and safety protocols. The role involves executing clinical procedures, selecting appropriate technical factors, administering contrast, and assisting with invasive CT-guided procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, preparing patients, verifying orders, and ensuring quality control of equipment. The technologist communicates effectively with patients and care teams, documents activities, and supports departmental performance initiatives. Adherence to regulatory standards and ethical practices is essential. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or accredited radiologic technology certificate. ARRT(R) in Radiography and CT or NMTCB(CT) certification required. 6 months to 1 year of CT experience preferred; cross-training or CT certification advantageous. Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification required. Knowledge of anatomy, radiation safety, and patient positioning; basic computer skills preferred. Key Duties Perform CT scans, ensure patient safety, and support quality improvement efforts. Prepare and educate patients, maintain equipment, and document procedures.
