Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. - Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients.
- Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the larger ER team, adapting care to changes in patient's condition as needed.
- Use knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs. Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient's condition.
- Engage in other activities that will benefit patient outcomes, such as patient experience initiatives, mentoring, etc
This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. and Two years experience as an RN in the Emergency Department
- Registered Nurse: NV
- American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Trauma Nurse Core Course
- Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements
