The program provides care to general medical and surgical patients in this 72-bed community hospital. The ideal candidate will be either a Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a Med/Peds physician. Arkansas Health Group, a subsidiary of Baptist Health, employs the position. The schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off. The shifts require a combination of on-site coverage as well as after hours call. There is an average of 15-20 patient encounters per shift. Additionally, all psychiatric patients receive a medical consult to manage any medical needs, for which the hospitalists will receive additional compensation. There is a base salary with a competitive benefits package for a three-year contract. There is also an opportunity to earn incentive compensation based on patient satisfaction, quality, RVU’s, and medical staff committee involvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
