Flexible, up to 15 hours per week; not to conflict with your class schedule. You will only work when students schedule appointments with you ahead of time.

Completion of in-person or online orientation is REQUIRED. In-person new tutor training will be held the week before classes start in August. Primary Responsibilities Tutor NKU students who request assistance in improving their skills, knowledge, or understanding of specific courses; maintain accurate records. [PLUS Tutors do NOT tutor writing or English composition courses; Writing Center consultants do this work.]

Maintain adequate progress with training and development. Qualifications REQUIRED:

Acquire signed faculty recommendation form and attach as "Letter of Recommendation" to this application.

* 30 or more semester credit hours earned
* Grade of "A" or "A-" in course(s) tutored
* Enrollment in 6 or more semester credit hours during time of employment;
* Maintain GPA of 3.25 or higher
