Property Accountant

Job DescriptionThe Property Accountant will be responsible for the recording and accounting of financial transactions for the above-mentioned entities and their operations. The Property Accountant is also responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for their assigned entities. In addition, the position is responsible to assist with planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting and analysis.General Ledger and Accounting Responsibilities:Ensure accounts are balanced and accuratePrepare monthly financial statementsOversee invoice coding for accuracyMaintain work papers for financial informationAssist in preparation of annual budgetsWork directly with onsite managerial staffReviews tenant delinquencies and helps formulate resolutions with managementAnswer internal and external inquiriesEnsure adequate funding for taxes, operational and capital expendituresMonitory and ensure debt service payments are madePerforms tenant ledger maintenance as required per lease agreementPerform other tasks as requested by Senior staffQualifications:Ability to work as full-time, general business hours, Monday thru FridayDegree in Accounting or related field or work equivalentKnowledge of Excel and Database management preferableStudents who are close to graduation are welcome to apply #J-18808-Ljbffr
